Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, lol why go to school today?
Today was a not even half a day for me. I went to school for about an hour and a half, which is equivalent to one class. Only to drop off cupcakes for my club and take a spanish test but whatever, that’s not the point to this blog. I just wanted to do all my thanks before I leave for the weekend. I’m going camping! LOL ;D I’m sure where yet, but yes. All my family is packing and getting ready, cleaning and whatnot. We’ll be leaving in a few hours and will be there until Saturday. I haven’t gone camping in a long while.
Before I digress again, I just wanted to get the point to everyone of how thankful I am. This year has been filled with wonder. I’ve met some unforgettable people, lost a few friends and gotten close to most of them. The transition from a freshman to sophomore wasn’t difficult to adjust to at all and isn’t a big a deal to me. I’m happy to be getting older, and hopefully wiser. Through it all I just wanted to thank my family. There have been many reasons and occurrences for me to just love them all the more, but all those times we’ve been exasperated and just sick of each other just balance us out. They know how to push my buttons every so often but can make me laugh any time of day. I love my family. My dad, mom, ateh, and brothers<3 As for friends, my church youth group and asians have been my foundation. They make my life. I have no reason to be mad or upset with any of them, actually I never get into fights.. so I can honestly say that I’ve been free of any fights. Through my downsides and constant change in moods, I don’t get how they stand me. I’m happy they’re there though. I wouldn’t want any others. I’ve seen my church youth group grow up through the years and to this day we’re still together. Lost a few thanks to college, but we’ve kept it together. I can only hope that we continue to really grow more in Christ and keep true to him and his word. I would name them, but there’s like twenty of us. Hahh, no thanks. The asians keep me going during the week. When I don’t see my youth group, I see them and so grateful to have come into their lives. Our hang outs and chill times are always fun and the fact that we’re so damn comfortable with each other is why we’re so close. Each one of our personalities adds on to how many times I smile in a day. I’ve never met a funnier group of kids. With the future coming fast, I know they’ll be the ones who will be coming over to bother me.
I’m leaving soon and have yet to shower, so I hope everyone has a meaningful, well-fed Thanksgiving. ;) Stay safe and God bless.
